Introduction to Selassie I Divinity

For those who do not know September 11th is the Ethiopian New Year. The Ethiopic calendar actually marks the birth of Jesus Christ/Isa accurately.

Theologians agree that Jesus/Isa actually was born 7 BC, this is reflected in the Ethiopian calendar. The Ethiopian calendar is 7 years and 8 months "behind" the Gregorian one.

The Ethiopian church was founded before the Roman catholic church. Haile Selassie I was born to an Orthodox Christian Father and a Muslim Mother, raised mostly by his Muslim Maternal Grandmother, since his Mother died while Tafari was young.

Ethiopia is the ONLY African country that has NEVER been colonized by Europeans.

Tafari was crowned Emperor in an unbroken succession tracing back to King Solomon, giving His Imperial Majesty biblical and Israelite (Jewish) ancestry from the tribe of Judah.

Upon this occasion he took the name Haile Selassie, meaning Might of the Trinity.

The Ethiopian Orthodox church is the oldest founded Christian Church, practicing a Christianity that is of Biblical times. The Ethiopians hold the Ark of the Covenant.

The Falasha Ethiopian Israelites (Jews) practice a type of Judaism that is believed to be pure and of Biblical times. A few years ago a number of them were air lifted to Israel according to Prophecy and given citizenship according to the "Law of Return". Furthermore the Hebrew people claim that The One Who comes as a Messiah must be of the tribe of Judah, as well as a descendant of King Solomon.

Rastafarians teach that Selassie I is Christ returned. Which would make the new Mary an Islamic Born Woman. This is important for the Islamic Culture is also awaiting the return of a Messiah, or Mahdi, who must have a lineage back to the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH).

Selassie maintained correspondence with Ghandi, Martin Luther King and Bob Marley.
