Whipping vicious flows with a voice of distinction, he paints a realistic aspect of the Black experience....one of struggle but also of hope and faith.

Raised in a West Indian family by a devoutely religous mother, he quickly came to see the world was far different then the sanctuary of home.

Money was tight but there was never a lack of love and faith in the Creator....it was the streets however that taught him to be a warrior and that life was not fair.

Losing a cousin early in life to the drug game and an uncle to the AIDS epidemic left an imprint that remains to this very day.

Seeing close friends strung out, other friends hustling anything by any means to make ends meet, tore his soul.

He soon realized that this thing called "life" was more complex than stark black & white but various shades of gray and that love, hope, and faith were the bright colors in an otherwise dismal picture.

SUPASELF stands for the struggle to reach our higher selves, our "super selves"....the essence in each of us that refuses to give up.
